Progress Made At Fishbourne

Thanks to a really good turnout a substantial amount of progress was made today on the pond at Fishbourne, although it looks like we’re just drinking tea and having fun we actually:

1.Cleared out debris from sluice.Carried out examination and temporary repair of sluice.

2.Removed approximately quarter of the Mares-Tail from the mill-pond.Loaded on

a boat and wheel-barrows,transported to garden to dry and burn.

3.Cut and cleared approximately 80 square metres of phragmites to expose fen.
