Chichester Harbour, with it’s extensive marsh and mudflats is home to a huge number of duck, geese and waders; many migrating from far afield to winter away from the arctic ice.

Not surprisingly wildfowling has been a tradition at Chichester Harbour for over 350 years; initially as a source of income but now as a leisure activity. The Chichester Wildfowlers’ Association carries on this tradition and helps take care of this remarkable place by managing shooting and through conservation activities.

Shooting in this extensive, natural area is both challenging and satisfying; it’s a very special place with wild spaces so close to large conurbations. If this appeals to you we’re currently open for membership and have a structured program to introduce new members to our demanding sport.
